My husband and I hired Aaron Prange for a fairly large project. We live in a bi-level and wanted to do a complete kitchen remodel that involved knocking out walls between the kitchen, dining room and living room. Plus, we needed new flooring, new front and patio doors, new stairs, and a few other things. Aaron and his team and subcontractors took care of it all! Our previous kitchen as in horrible shape and it really does feel like we are in a whole new home, it all looks AMAZING! Aaron was good about letting us know if any of our choices would push us over budget so we could further evaluate decisions. Our house was built in 1973 and our kitchen and living area looks INCREDIBLE now! The project did not always go 100% smoothly, the second half of the project took much longer than the first half in terms of getting some smaller details completed or corrected, so we had to follow up with Aaron frequently. We also had an issue with a stair nosing that wasn’t able to be corrected. In other cases we showed him where attention to details could have been better. Other than those few things we are very happy with the results and would use him and his team again for future projects!

We hired Aaron for a very large project that included a complete demo and remodeling of our main floor (e.g. moving the kitchen and bathroom, removing several walls, rebuilding the staircase). Aaron impressed us with his ideas and willingness to incorporate and expand upon our ideas. He was great to work with and we are very happy with the results.

BBY did an excellent job on a garage renovation project that replaced bats of insulation with spray foam insulation, and added a dry wall ceiling. Both will keep bedrooms over the garage warmer. The crew was polite, efficient, and respected our hours. The job was finished in less than two weeks, at a price substantially less than other contractors offered. The upstairs bedrooms are warmer, and the garage is lighter. We were very happy with their work, and BBY responded quickly to our questions and concerns. They also returned to tie up one lose end, at my convenience. We recommend them highly and enthusiastically. I should say that Aaron Prange arranged everything. His carpenters did the prep work, he engaged a foam insulating crew, and then a dry walling crew. The coordination was perfect, and the job was completed ahead of schedule. The price was just a bit  more than 50% of another well-known renovator in Bloomington, who proposed to add more lights. That proved unnecessary, once the ceiling was painted. The garage became lighter, and so much easier to manage
